My family's current primary effort is referbishing the house we recently moved into. "Project bones" is focused on ensuring the structure, plumbing, electric and other "bones" are in good shape before adding anything.
No matter how hard I try, I can't say no to a bike project. I've lost count of the ones I've rebuilt. I'm currently planning the rebuild of my childhood hardtail mountain bike that I recently reacquired.
The Bus, as my kids call it, this is the family van I bought for $500 due to a bad head gasket. At around 220,000 miles on the odometer, I addressed a few other necessary mechanical updates. I then spent a total of 60 hours restoring the interior and outfitting it for road trips with visibility, comfort, and organizational enhancements. It's currently at 254,000 miles with a goal of 300,000

My wife and I have got a Subaru Impreza back in 2017 and I've tried a few different things with it.
1. I was curious how long I could keep a car looking like new so I've cleaned it every single week since we bought it (Ignoring the weeks we didn't use it).
2. I've optimized it for travel and utility by adding DOT fog lights, touring-focused tires, and dedicated car pillows passenger comfort. Utility was enhanced by Weather Tech floormats, factory all weather trunk, and back seat protection when the seats are down. The result is a pretty comfortable car with good visibilty and an interior that's easy to clean out. I'm currently planning out how to optimize it for kids as a non-minivan trip is becoming more of a reality.

Years ago, while walking around the office, I had a thought: "What if I did something every day for a year?" Considering my interest in video, endurance, and task management, I quickly established a format: shoot 10 seconds of film every day for an entire year.
Since then, I've done this project three separate years. This endeavor has improved my project management, editing, and video production skills capturing many moments in life. I highly recommend attempting a 10-second project.
